This is a very stupid question but considering how things are going on rn, I just want to be sure.
Im working as an unpaid intern for a company (for OPT). I have an offer lined up which is a paid role. Ill be receiving it in a week.
My OPT expires on July 16,2026. Im currently within the window where I can apply for STEM OPT. Do I have to wait till I have the offer in hand and then do the required paperwork?
Sorry if the question sounds very dumb. My international office have been pretty unresponsive due to staffing issues and Ive been getting mixed answers everywhere and am worried.
