Hey people. I’m currently stuck on which MOS I should pick. Right now I’m being offered 15X which has about 9 slots left. I’m not sure if I should take it or wait for a 15T to open up. For context my goals in life are to eventually get a pilots license at Mercer Community College which offers a degree tied to certs for 2 years time. Or RTP in a shorter period of time. Right now I’m enrolled in the program I just am not ready to pay 100k for education at this stage of my life. I’ve completed my gen Ed’s and I’m also grinding out Sophia online classes to get 60 credits (To obtain E3). I’ve come to you guys looking for advice and below I’ve compiled some pros/cons.

All in all just throw info at me. Don’t hold back

-Brand new MOS meaning opportunities
-7 years contract
-Possibly some skills that transfer over to civ side? Need more information
-On the forefront of war fighting tech

15T

-Option to go WOFT
-Obtains skills in mechanics so definitely transferable
-No contract is available for me to reserve yet
-Is being heavily cut back according to a 15T friend of mine
