Possible Phenobarbital toxicity

I’m concerned my dog has PB toxicity. She’s been progressively more lethargic over the last couple months. She can still get up and go but is very slow and more wobbly. Hunger and thirst are vicious and she’s been having some strange behaviors especially at night. We have her 5-6 month labs next week and I suspect they will be elevated. What are your dogs on in conjunction with keppra? She was doing great with it as standalone medication for 3 months prior to a missed dose which resulted in a cluster and added PB at emergency vet. My vet doesn’t usually prescribe PB and mentioned zonisamide at her last appointment. What are everyone’s experience with this drug, and is it effective in combination with keppra?

Phenobarbital and insatiable hunger at night

My 9 year old frenchie, started with seizures 8 months ago. Vet believes it is brain tumor, but we decided to forego imagine due to expense, so just a wait and see kind of thing. She was stable on keppra from Dec to march before missing a dose and having a cluster seizure. Phenobarbital was added and everything was fine within first 3 weeks, slowly become less sedated. Labs were reportedly “perfect” at 3 weeks. Within a week of that appointment, she has been waking up at 6am whining. She has never been a whiner or barker. After struggling with this for 3-4 weeks now, it seems to be hunger driven. We have tried to increase keppra briefly to see if it was pre-ictal, but no improvement. Added gabapentin at night, but still gets up. Finally started feeding her a small meal before bed at 10pm, but unfortunately still waking up. It’s happening earlier now (sometimes 430-5am). Feeding her (if enough) tends to stop it immediately, but I’m afraid I’ve opened a can of worms by feeding her at this hour. She has collapsed trachea so when she gets anxiety her breathing gets pretty bad, so it makes me nervous to just let her lay there and whine hoping it would stop. Does this sound like hunger? Any tricks or snacks to fill her up more?
