Hobbit inspired art, paper cut.. anyone recognise?
EDIT: it was annoying me so I took it down to read the back. It says ‘Handmade Scherenschnitte paper cut by Linda Emmerson 1998’
I found this art a few years ago in a charity shop, I don’t want to take it back off the wall for now but it has the artist’s name on the back and is dated to the 1990s as well at the artist’s initials ‘L E’ on the front next to Bard at the bottom. As soon as I saw it, I knew it needed to come home with me but I’ve never been able to find any information anywhere about the piece or the artist.
It was brought in a charity shop near Highbury, North London and just wondered if anyone on here might have seen a piece like it before or might recognise it?
Otherwise I hope you enjoy this (as far as I can tell) unique piece if Tolkien inspired art that predates not just the Hobbit films but also the Peter Jackson LotR films.
