Work study: any interviews/replies yet? I desperately NEED one

I've applied to about 30 so far. I do 2-3 every day. It's dead silent rn.

Has anyone gotten any interview or any reply yet?

Incoming undergrad btw but I have some experience being a cashier, leadership and science fairs in school.

Claimed by the horde king by Zoey Draven WOW.

I just finished the second book in the series {Horde Kings of Drakkar by Zoey Draven} and WOW.

The angst, the smut, everything was in the perfect amount.

If any (or all) of these is something that you'd love, please read this because as I said WOW.

● ANGST with good grovel and painnnn

● MMC fucked up big time TWICE but hold up, valid debatable reasons and he isn't plain stupid

● Alien mmc x human fmc (mmc basically has a sex toy in his body no more comment 😋)

● slow burn with AHHHHHHHH first time being so GOOD.

I'd say you do not have to read the first book but it was good too and sets the whole another planet description and rules and everything really well.

I hope you enjoy reading! I'm onto the 3rd book now 🎉

Incoming first year international student unable to attend frosh and orientation

As the title says, I feel very scared and anxious about not being able to attend these. My flight lands just a day before classes start.

Will I still be able to make friends?

How many overlap courses can I take if im doing 2 majors and a minor?

Astronomy and Astrophysics major, physics major and minor.

(I am fully aware the minor isnt necessary dw.)

Acc to what I've understood from the degree requirements: 7 100 level course credits max, 20 credits to graduate, 12 credits from my majors which gives 4 credits to overlap. And the breadth requirement thingy.

But if im adding a minor too, can I do 8+8+4= 20. 20-12= 8 credits worth of overlap?

It's not gonna be that much but i just wanna do as much as possible bc even in year 2, I can possibly do math and physics courses that count for both majors, if im doing the stats major and the stats courses obv differ after 1st year.

I acc want to do a few more csc electives and a 2nd year astro research if possible (haven't researched if its even open for me or no)

Sorry if there are any grammar mistakes, English is not my first language

A level physics and chemisty transfer credit, first year student

Hi

I've done A level physics and chemistry and got an A* in both. I believe they both will transfer credits or something. I plan to major in Physics, and the A level transfer credit would be equivalent to phy151 and 152.

What if I still want to do 151 and 152? Because from what I have read, it is similar to A level physics but still different enough for me to get used to it.

Kindly clarify this concern of mine.

Thanks a lot!

Books similar to Her baseborn bridegroom by Alice coldbreath

So i recently reread it (prob 5th reread heheee). And I still haven't really been able to find anything similar.

Tropes in this i LOVED:

  1. grumpy mmc makes her cry unintentionally and his heart goes boom boom fuck what have i done

  2. mean, cold mmc and initially shy fmc who later on eats his brain by yapping

  3. virgin fmc + A LOT of great spice

  4. mmc doesnt find her a great beauty at first and later on is like: i cant remb a time i didnt find her the most beautiful woman

I have read all Alice coldbreath, tessa dare, elisa braden btw.

Thanks!

Mmc and his family dislike the fmc

Cold/grumpy mmc and his family (if possible, no parents 💀) dislike the shy/gentle fmc.

I'd love a slowish burn, marriage of convenience/arranged marriage, class gap and age gap, virgin fmc.

I also want mmc to be extremely surprised and annoyed by his sudden and overwhelming lust and or care for the fmc.

Mmc can unintentionally hurt the fmc by words and actions bc hes just cold and stupid and doesnt know how to deal with his new wife.

Fmc tries to get along but everyone's giving her a cold shoulder.

She then gets hurt or somebody sees her sobbing or something, and they all slowly slowly feel guilty/realise their mistake. She gets taken for granted basically.

High angst but high spice as well 🙏🏼

I just read {The scoundrel's honor by christi caldwell}. It had all this or was similar but there was only one spicy scene and the ending was rushed with no grovel imo.

I have read EVERYTHING by Alice coldbreath and after trying multiple HR authors, some have good books but they still dont hit the same.

What i love about her books is that they have a plot, a slowish burn (sometimes) and grumpy mmcs confused by their feelings for the mmc in an arranged marriage or marriage of convenience. {her bridegroom bought and paid for by Alice coldbreath}

Many of the HR that do have well written grumpy mmcs, also have take charge, bold fmcs whom i do like from time to time but i prefer shy, virgin ones like {her baseborn bridegroom by Alice coldbreath}. Also {dreaming of you by lisa kleypas} was 5/5.

I have read most of the tessa dare, elisa braden (love her too), all Julie garwood, all Elizabeth hoyt, all lisa kleypas. Give me something MORE i beg 😔

Tldr: give me grumpy cold mmc, shy virgin fmc, w age gaps and or height difference, and mmc who EAT (the fmc, just to be clear?) 🙏🏼😋
