I dont like how many people see there being a 'Best' and 'Worst' imposter role, as I dont really think they should be ranked like that. Im gonna go over the imposter roles with their Pros and Cons.

Shapeshifter

Pros:Can frame other crewmates, Can basically get free kills, can be used as a excuse for kills you make, and can cause confusion in the crew.

Cons:Can be figured out due to process of elimination, people can figure out who shapeshifted by being aware of locations, and in general can be risky to use sometimes.

Phantom

Pros:Allows you to get away from kills, allows you to ambush by separating one person with doors, allows you to sneak around and get alibis, and you cant figure out who is the phantom as easily.

Cons:Cant kill while invisible, your absence can be sus (especially early in the game), and can be risky to use sometimes.

Viper

Pros:You can hide bodies by closing doors and let them dissolve, and killing in low traffic areas can also let the body dissolve.

Cons:If you are caught killing you cant make up the shapeshifter excuse, and dissolve stage being visible means people can tell how old the body is.

Personally I think every role has there own place in the game and cant be compared, until we get more roles that have similar uses you cant compare any roles.
