General observations after watching way too much Bar Rescue

A lot of the bars Taffer works with are too far gone by the time he gets there and end up closing. That's understandable. However, his reliance on corny re-names and extremely generic interior remodels don't help. I wonder if some of the places would do better if he did the training component, some menu improvement and left it at that. Taking a workingperson's bar and remaking it based on overly sweet cocktails hoping to get more women in the bar doesn't seem to work. What do you think?
