First ride for my 9yo son! [Flight of the Hippogriff]
Hey guys! My 9yo son who has chickened out on roller coasters before is coming with me to Universal Studios: Islands of Adventure in about a week. Hes about 50" height, so he meets the height requirement, but im wondering if this will be a good first ride for him. I was born and raised in Tampa, so I absolutely love roller coasters having gone on my first ride at 10yo on Montu after it first opened. I've been on many dozen since then, and always love them, as im a thrill seeker. My son isn't really that type, but he said he'd try one with me. Would Flight of the Hippogriff be a good intro ride? What are some of your opinions? Im unfamiliar with the ride, as I haven't been to Islands of Adventure since the Harry Potter World opened. Absolutely love Hulk tho, but I know thats a terrible first roller coaster for him to ride lol
