Fibromyalgia or just my body being weird?

Hiya! I know this is not a sub for diagnosis (obviously!) but thought I should ask here to see if what I'm experiencing could be fibromyalgia or something else. . .

The symptoms I experience are

  • General aching (especially in my back, hands, hips, neck and feet/ankles, usually worse in my hands when it's cold?)
  • Mild tingling in my hands and feet
  • General poor quality of sleep (although this may be a different sleep disorder)
  • General fatigue (although this may be due to poor sleep)
  • Frequent (mild) sore throats
  • For some reason when I'm cold my skin feels prickly?
  • Sometimes get sections of skin which feel like they 'burn' in response to light touch
  • Something I can only describe as nausea in my brain. I feel 'sick' but not in a stomach way if that makes sense?
  • Frequent sore/scratchy throat

These aren't constant, I am often pretty much fine (apart from some pain but I forget about it most of the time), but at other times (such as the last few days) it gets worse

There are probably others that I haven't remembered at the moment. I had a blood test a while back that showed I had no rheumatoid factor or anything else obvious, but slightly heightened levels of some inflammatory marker (can't remember the name), which my doctor said may be nothing

I also suspect I have hEDS, due to all the things my joints do, and my circulation is quite bad

Any opinions appreciated!

What is sequence stratigraphy?

Finding it difficult to get a good answer from google. . . does anyone here have any good insight?

So far what I've found on line says "Sequence stratigraphy is defined as the study of rock relationships within a chronostratigraphic framework of repetitive genetically related strata bounded by surfaces of erosion or deposition or their correlative conformities", which I find to be a bit of a difficult to follow definition (especially as chronostratigraphy is also hard to find a good answer about)

Any advice appreciated!

Stable Iron Isotope Fractionation

Okay so this may be a niche/weird question but please bear with me.

Is there any way one could look at isotopes in iron oxides to determine whether they initially precipitated as iron oxides, or were precipitated as something else (e.g. iron sulphides), and were subsequently oxidised?

As far as I'm aware, heavier isotopes concentrate in stronger bonds, so there should be some kind of fractionation? But that's pretty much as far as my understanding goes, and I don't know the viability of actually measuring these things.

Any insight appreciated!

Deans list dress code?

I'm going to the science dean's list ceremony thing on tuesday, and was wondering if any people who have been in the past have insight into how formal/fancy it is? I fear I have no fancy clothes (the extent is some borderline respectable pants and a nice button down shirt)

Any insight greatly appreciated!

I'm vegetarian and have been struggling with low iron for a long time (even taking supplements), and have been thinking about starting to eat liver.

Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to prepare/eat liver? Especially for someone who doesn't cook with meat.

Also is this at all a good idea?
