My first proper project - portable spares toolbox

So I have a vw dune buggy, they have no place to keep anything, but you always need a few tools and minor spares, so I started looking for rugged box, but also noted the place where there was the main battery was still existed. I knew the gridfinity generator had rugged boxes, sure enough the 4*3 module with box clamps is about the same footprint as an 063 battery. 23u high gets you about the same height!

Tried tooltrace.ai, which is good, but I found it easier, to take a photo, stick that on fusion and make the cutouts on there.

I did mod the box, for some reason in the gridfinity generator, puts the groove in the box and the lip on the lid, I put this in tinkercad and redid it, should keep water out better now as that's normally how ip54 boxes are.

V1of my first insert was done with tool trace and no clearance, only just fitted the tray and was too tight. V2 is seen in the picture photo put into fusion and drawn as a sketch.

Now just need to find the rest of the tools/spares and make the other inserts!
