Sandy comes from a higher eldritch plane. In archaic times, when coming to earth, in order to be able to interact with humans she created for herself a more human looking body. This being necessary in order to interact with humans without hurting them, since her true form can be overpowering for humans to look at. But she isn't omniscient. So creating a body for herself took a lot of trial and effort. Both in terms of figuring out how to do so, and then later, how to decide how she wanted to present herself.

While some beings from a higher plane might only create a body to use as an interface with humans, some will come to identify with the body and consider it a true part of themselves. And may alter their consciousness on some level in order to match the body. So early on she changed her appearance a few times in order to determine her self identity with a humanoid body. Although gender and sex aren't an innate part of the type of thing she is, the process of shaping herself a humanoid body is when she took on a female leaning identity and started referring to herself as such.

While the shape of her full original body is unknown, possibly not even able to be described via three dimensional language, the thing she shapes to look like “wings” are implied to be an actual aspect of her original body that she leaves out (visible in the background), though she covers it slightly with feathers to make it a shape more palatable to humans. And she keeps the tentacles... somewhere. Best not to ask questions. The reasoning for her giving herself one blue eye and one red eye is because the original eldritch eyes are red. So it conveys that she can see both from a more human perspective relatable to humans while still retaining her higher level of consciousness.

While this wasn't explicitly intended as a pride post originally, it can be partially counted as one, since I added the bisexual flag colors intentionally.

Mei wears a bisexual flag patch on her jacket because I'm buttmad that the jacket I got with one on it didn't look good or fit me it has a special meaning to her due to it being tied to when she realized she couldn't trust her family. She lives in a place where this could attract negative attention, but she is used to it and enjoys knowing that she looks dangerous enough that most people wouldn't dare try to cause trouble with her.

Why is Kirby such an asshole in this game? He preemptively insults everyone he sees, forces people to play against their will, and even uses physical violence as a taunt. He straight up deliberately steps on whispy woods' roots after he was nicely asked not to.

You know, I actually spent over an hour manually editing the board to look plausible from what chatgpt gave me. It made a lot of blobs with three eyes, or had same color ones next to eachother that weren't linked.
