New Hand Massage Push

So I've seen multiple people disccusing the new policy about giving customers hand massages when they come in. Employees have just had their October meeting (Something done to hype up and educate the new seasonal hires essentially) and yes this is in fact a policy that is being brought back. Alot of the response Ive been seeing from customers is "Wtf dont touch me!" and yes! please bring this energy! however! this is not something that is the fault of associates OR Managers. Ive seen so many people saying they are going to complain to managers if an employee tries to touch them and that does nothing but potentially get employees in trouble for something they dont want to do because alot of the managers are having their own higher ups enforce this rule. The best thing you can do for both your customer experiance the the well being of employees is to CALL AND COMPLAIN or message and complain to HR to customer support to anyone who will listen. Mangers cant do shit to stop this it is going to go away only if customer reaction is largely negative.

Edit: Not on this specific post but on many others regarding the topic, i have seen people implying they will PHYSICALLY HARM us associates if we attempt this and THIS IS EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE OF WHAT YOUR REACTION SHOULD BE!!! This is precisely why you should go to corporate instead of trying to harm people who have very little choice in the descion???
