Oily dental hand pieces

I understand other facilities have different procedures and level of acceptance etc but I'm curious on what does your facility do for oily hand pieces? We'd clean them, oil, and air out for 1 minute, wipe them and on to sterilization. Dental understandably doesn't like oil spots on the pouch even if it's 1cm, the big problem is my facility is very very very rural. Extremely hard to get supplies, we do our best to prevent oil on the pouches but regardless what we do they get oily 🥲 [folded to hide the names and facility] Quick edit: we do check the pouched to make sure they are free of oil but they eventually leak oil after we give the OK and give them to dental

Being the only one

Oh my gosh. have anyone else had a week(or more) where youre the ONLY person working??? (2 coworkers on PTO and 1 person decided to not show up) 😭 im falling behind on a lot of instruments. The boss is here helping me with much as she can with her time. Ive asked my coworkers if they can come in and help me but understandably they don't want to come in. i swear im gonna crash out soon

pet peeve

Omg I have this one coworker who takes everyone's completed trays (trays waiting for sterilization) and stacks them on MY desk/station 😭 girl why? I did nothing to you. keep in mind we already have tables/areas for holding waiting items. My station is so full I basically cant work at it.

Residue on racks

I have an odd question. Any other facility get tape residue stuck on the racks too? What yall do to remove them? 😭 we just use scissors and scrape them off and run them thru the washer afterwards. Thank you in advance!
