Ireland Itinerary 2027 Feedback
Hi Everyone! My cousin and I are planning our second Ireland trip for two weeks in September of next year. We went this past September for 10 days and loved it so much we are going back. We have started planning/making our itinerary and would love some feedback. We want to see as much as we can and also not overwhelm ourselves with trying to see too much. We will not have a car and be using public transportation. Any feedback or suggestions for if this plan sounds like too much or doable would be very appreciated! Thank you!
Day 1-2: Dublin, we will probably choose the same flight we did this year so we will land in Dublin around noon. So will spend about a day and a half in Dublin. We spent a decent amount of time there our first trip so don’t feel like we need to spend a lot of time, but want to go to places we missed and revisit places we loved.
Day 3-4: Dublin to Sligo by train. We really want to go to Sligo, but aren’t sure if we should since we won’t have a car.
Day 5-7: Sligo to Galway by bus. Day trip to Doolin from Galway by bus. We had one full day in Galway for our first trip and loved it.
Day 8-10: Galway to Cork by bus. Day trip to Kinsale from Cork by bus
Day 11-13: Cork to Killarney by train. Day trip to Kenmare from Killarney by bus
Day 14: Killarney to Dublin by train and leave to go back home on day 15.
