Hello. I like to study anthropology as a hobby. Are there any good books that are about native cultures and customs? I personally think a lot of native cultures were top tier and we should lead more like our ancestors. Id like to find a book about the Americas before Columbus. Tribe specific books are welcome as well. As always. Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance :)

Visited the "Little House on the Prairie Museum" and found out Dr Tann's grave site was pretty close by.
Dr George Tann was remarkable for his time, he believed in handwashing and fresh air and exercise. He eventually built a hospital with large windows and a large porch for the patients. He's most famous for treating Laura Ingalls and her family for Malaria. He treated everybody regardless of their race, sex, or ability to pay. He was such an upstanding member of the community that when he died in 1909 they elected not to bury him in the colored cemetery and buried him in the white cemetery.
So far ive read the autobiography of Melissa sue Anderson, Alison's, and im currently reading Karen Grassle's. Which biography do you recommend?
Thank you in advance!
