If you'd like to audition for our Trench-inspired audio drama, record a script reading and submit it by end of day August 22nd! Please don't be afraid, embarrassed, or intimidated to audition! We are all very nice and no prior voice acting experience is required! We really want to see what y'all can bring to these characters!

Well, we're doing it. We're making an audio drama. And we need voice actors! We have 10 main characters, plus additional "incidental" or "background" characters, that we need voiced for season one. More information about what we're looking for, how to submit your audition, and audition sides are available in this form.

Here's the basic info:

- Where We Used To Bleed follows a group of Banditos as they are placed at the forefront of a mission to find, and possibly aid in the rescue of, a mysterious independent agent who seems to be attempting to incite a rebellion from inside the city of Dema. Along the way they are forced to confront painful regrets from their pasts and question who they truly are.

- Our story is inspired by the world of Trench. We also drew inspiration from the fanfiction "The High Road" by Della Black, BUT it is not a direct adaptation of her story.

- There will be no sexually explicit content in this audio drama. There will be some cursing and depictions of violence. I'd say we're trying to keep it between PG and PG-13.

- The first season will cover the events from the album Trench. If enough people want more of the story, we will continue with a second season covering the events from Scaled And Icy.

- Torchbearer and Clancy are part of this story, but they are NOT the main characters, and they are NOT supposed to be Tyler and Josh. (Does that make sense?)

- Auditions will be closing at 11:59 PM CST on August 22nd.

- Our goal is to release the first episode the last week of September.

If you know me, you know I don't half-ass my fan passion projects. Because I do these things to make joy and wonder for myself and, dammit, don't we all need a lot of that these days?
