do we all arrive at the same time ( family and students) or do students need to arrive earlier? and how does it work once your inside. how early should you go?

So a friend of mine got an email saying they got deans scholar and to come pick up their cord. i never got any such email though. she's a different major, she's doing health sciences and i'm in finance. wondering if i can get one too since im graduating soon
