What can be said after an execution?
So me and 4 friends have just started playing secret hitler and have played less than 10 games total. We have been playing with 1 fascist, hitler, and 3 liberals. In a game tonight, we suspected a player of being hitler, and the president executed them. When asked, “were you hitler?”, they responded, “No, I was a liberal!”. At the end of the game it was revealed that the executed player was indeed a fascist but he used his last statement in the game to sow confusion to help secret hitler. When told that he couldn’t lie about that, he said that technically the only information he could reveal was whether or not he was secret hitler and it was up to us to ignore everything he said after the word no. We asked chatgpt which said that was illegal and we’ve asked google’s AI which said it was legal as long as he said nothing at all after that final statement. Is that actually legal??? Or was he bs-ing us?
