I want to start by saying that I’m married and am looking for female friends to go hiking with. I’m David, I’m 39, and I live in Palmdale. I’m getting back into my health journey after recovering from two knee surgeries and being on medical leave for almost a year. I spent much of that time at home and started feeling depressed, but I’m gradually getting out of that mindset. My wife actually encouraged me to post this. She travels for work and is going to school to finish her degree, so we only get to see each other once a week if we're lucky. Most of our evenings involve lots of video calls. I’ve tried finding male buddies, but I’ve met some people who were involved with drugs, which isn’t a good fit for me. If you’d like to go hiking or kayaking, let me know! I moved to Palmdale about two years ago from LA. I'm a married man, but I'm looking for a buddy to enjoy trying new beers with.
