this is becoming less and less of a problem as summer kicks off, but i still end up spending hours with only 1 or 2 people swimming at a time. 3 if i'm lucky. the way i used to scan when i worked at a much busier pool doesn't quite work when there's so few people. especially when there's only 1 person, i end up just watching them swim back and forth with the occasional glance around the pool deck... but i'm worried about zoning out. does anyone have any advice on how to deal with this?
