Found My Childhood Collection
First post here but wanted to see if I can get some advice. I’ve been in and out of the hobby for the last few years but when I was a kid (20 years ago) I remembered I loved pokemon and had a collection. I just found that old collection this weekend. Some pretty decent cards, some not so decent but the one thing I couldn’t believe was the condition. 95% of my old cards are in incredible condition.
I’m looking for advice for what I should do with specific cards and cards as a whole. There’s some I enjoy and I’d like to keep but there’s others I don’t really care about. I could use the money since Pokemon is as hot as it is. What’s some good guidelines on whether I should hold cards, sell cards raw, get them graded, etc. Just looking for advice from collectors in the hobby and maybe those who have had a similar situation.
I also plan to get the gold star Pika graded, thinking I will sell the Charizard (or keep I don’t know) it has some creases and the Blastoise is in great condition so i may get that graded too but I don’t know. Anything helps.
