I’m just wondering if anyone has towed over the limit without trailer brakes. Obviously I realize that no one would recommend this but I’m just curious. I have a 2026 GT-Line so I have the self level shocks, but I need to haul my side-by-side which including trailer weight would be around 2000lbs. I’ve done this with previous vehicles and my current trailer, but they never required external braking, so I would need to make somewhat significant modifications to my trailer plus the addition of the brake controller. I only use the trailer maybe twice a year and I’m wondering if anyone has had any experience.
