Accepted. No scholarship (cant afford) . Any ways to reduce the cost of attendance?

Ive just got my offer and I was not able to receive the entrance scholarship.

30k tuition expenses are pretty tough, especially when there is cost of living as well.

Im curious are there students that used to be in my situation and was able to get some sort of merit or other scholarships to afford the attendance?

INTERVIEW SUGGESTIONS

in 9 hours I do have an interview

Ive prepared to questions like:

  • Tell me about yourself
  • Why Korea?
  • Why UIC?
  • Why did you choose your major?
  • Tell us about one topic from economics that interests you.
  • What is your most proud achievement?
  • What have you read recently?
  • What did you learn from that book?
  • Why should we admit you?
  • What are your career plans?

Anything I missed and have to prepare??

Would love if guys who already had interview share the questions they got or the ones who preparing have other questions in mind that might appear.

I am applying to UD division, Econ

I was waitlisted and needed full aid to attend, but for now I only see students who got max 30 percent scholarships and got off from their waitlists

I think finances are the most important part for getting in, yeah?
