Diagnostic Mammo and axillary lymph node Biopsy

Hi everyone. I (27F) and currently going under diagnostic imaging and testing for breast cancer and other conditions. Last summer I started noticing changes in my breast where one or both would get really swollen and a cup size or two larger with hard spots and hurt to the touch. they’d be itchy with occasionally some redness around my areloas so i went to the PCP to get it checked. I found out from my paternal grandmother that there is extensive breast cancer history on my paternal grandfathers side of the family.

My first US i left with a BIRADS 2. My tissue is mixed and dense, with recommended MRI follow up and mammogram which my DR never did anything with.

A few months ago the pain started in both breast really bad with them being enlarged and hurt to the touch. This time, it extended to my underarms. I had another US with a BIRADS 3 with repeat US in 6 months for axillary lymph node cortical thickening, which they thought could be to a recent illness.

A month later and my left breast starts up really bad. I left Tuesday with a BIRADS 0 for more diagnostic testing as the cortical thickening isn’t any better, and now there is effacement of the hilum. I am going back this Tuesday for a diagnostic mammogram, and they recommended a US guided core needle biopsy of my left axillary lymph node.

I feel really lost and terrified. It’s my first mammo but i am absolutely terrified of the machine. I do okay with blood draws but needle procedures conscious, i could piss myself just thinking about it. I have a seizure disorder and i do not do well having to stay still or with loud sound. I am so fucking scared. Of getting these things done. I’m so scared to find out what’s wrong. And so unsure what to expect. I’m so angry that instead of getting to be a mother and living life and being a happy wife, I am running from doctor to doctor because i feel worse everyday these last two months. I am losing my mind and just destroying everything around me.
