Beloved Pusheen plushie before and after
I’ve had this pusheen plushie for almost ten years. I have brought it to more than a handful of U.S. states, Honduras, and Mexico several times. She is my travel companion and makes for a great pillow. It’s gross, but I’ve never wanted to wash her because the label said hand wash only. Yesterday I said whatever and put her in the washer. I used Costco brand oxiclean and one laundry detergent strip and put the washer on a normal heavy soil setting on hot.
She turned out looking great and feeling so soft again. After drying her with a fan and by stomping on her with towels for a bit, her fur was brushed to fluff it up again. A few stretched polyester fibers were visible, but scissors were used to clean them up. Overall, Pusheen looks, feels, and smells great! She still needs to dry a bit more, so she is out on my balcony getting a tan. I never thought about how much joy it would bring me to see her look brand new again! <3 Are there any Pusheen lovers in this sub?? :3
