Help/advice please!!
I’m going to be in NYC (do not live super close by and get to go 1 - maybe 2x a year….if I’m lucky). I saw MHE back in December and will plan to go again to see the new cast—I adore the music and scenery and acting. I’m trying to decide on other shows I should see. I am struggling with the lineup and deciding what I’d like to see/also budgeting and will try for cheap tix while I’m there. We are likely doing two strangers carry a cake and Heathers. I’m not super interested in recent Tony Winners that are super popular from their descriptions (I.e., lost boys, schmigadoon, cats)….but I am definitely open minded. Other favs include Hadestown, Six, West Side story, Rent, and saw Mincemeat last June which was the perfect amount of silly but not too silly/stupid comedy (which has a place but is not my fav). Also open to off-bway, plays (every brilliant thing?) , and more niche finds. Hoping to see 3-4 shows if I can! Xx
