my good friend threw an event (that unbeknownst to us, coincidentally landed on cyanotype day haha) where friends submitted photographs and he would turn them to cyanotypes to present in an art gallery. he asked me last minute to make a drawing for him to print and this was the result. i used white posca markers on a transparent sheet and he printed it on a thin cotton fabric

couldn't decide which subreddit to post this on. i was thinking of the doodle subreddit but it may be too "finished," so I'm posting here ! a doodle turned concept art ? idk haha
all done with a variety of inks, a glass dip pen, and a watercolor brush in the Traveler's Notebook watercolor paper insert.
i used photoshop to slightly enhance the color. the soft blue by the feet was lost in the scan along with some of the vibrancy. so it was just to color correct.
first pic shows the cleaned up version, second pic shows the scan. could have taken a photo of the book but the lights in my house suck haha
my set up: monthly calendar inside of the TN cardstock folder, followed by the weekly diary, followed by the blank cream insert, and finally the watercolor insert.
really happy with my system and just thought i would share :3
