Our little Lynx is 1 today!

We adopted Lynx back in December from a shelter, where he got after being found wandering the streets. It was clear from the start that he’s been through a lot. As long as he was in his cage, his safe space, everything was fine. However, during free roaming he was absolutely terrified. Not necessarily of us, but our hands. He’d come sniff you, but the moment you even slightly moved your hands, he’d attack. You can only image what he’d been through in his first months.

Now, roughly 4.5 months later, he’s making progress every week. He can be picked up using gloves. He’ll only hold your hand with his teeth, not actually bite. He’s incredibly playful, fetching like a dog. It’s the most adorable thing. He loves nothing more than sleeping in odd positions and watching over his two sisters, and honestly that’s all he has to do. He’s so so loved.
