7 wpo depression

Did anyone else go through a depressive phase around this time? I’m trying to get back to normal and work out etc but the depression is just absolutely terrible. I don’t want to go on antidepressants just yet (have been on them for almost 15yrs and finally tapered off successfully this Jan). Is this just a hormonal thing? Will it pass soon? Experience and advice deeply appreciated 🙏🏾

Edit: total hysterectomy, kept both ovaries. Should’ve added that

5 wpo. Wtf is happening to me?

5 wpo and I thought I was doing okay (which I am for the most part). But out of nowhere, wham! Heat strokes! My heart rate is crazy high and I can’t regulate my temperature. Also why am I eating twice my daily calorie requirement? Craving cookies and bakes like I’ve never before (I was off refined sugar for three years before the surgery). Am I going insane? Please tell me this has happened to at least someone else other than me so I don’t feel like such a weirdo.

Inflammation attack 4 wpo

Hello Hysterectomy Nation!

How’s everyone recovering? I had a total hysterectomy on 5/8. Recovery has been fairly smooth and I was doing pretty well until 2.5 - 3 wpo. Had some bloating issues but my doc recommended an anti histamine and that helped. Fast forward to now where the inflammation has hit me out of nowhere. I’m talking excessive bloating, fatigue, soreness in legs and pelvic region. Was wondering if this is the normal roller coaster of recovery or if it’s something I need to address with my doctor. I’m taking my fiber supplements, osmotic laxatives etc for context. I did suspect it might have been brought on by something I ate (gluten, sugar etc) so eliminated those. It’s still not gone down so I wonder what might be causing this. Maybe 12k steps is too much?
