If the AWB is overturned what are the first things on your wishlist?

Basically if everything goes well and we get a ruling in our favor that strikes down the AWB, what are you going to buy right away?

For me, I'd like to get both an FNX tactical as well as an 80x tactical, not being able to buy nice supressor hosts has been a real downer.

An mp5/Sp5 would be the dream, but the cost may be too prohibitive.

Of course a few lowers would be nice as well. What are you guys saving your pennies for?

New Gun(s) day

Been saving all of my petty cash for the past 8ish months, specifically to add to my collection a bit. I didn't manage to get everything I wanted, but I'm going to be set on new gun purchases for a while. I stock up on plenty of ammo and I'm really excited to get out to the range soon.

Picked up an HK cc9, Beretta A300 ultima patrol, Beretta 20x and a Ruger MK IV

Best way to spend ~$2000

My gun fund has finally found itself at the $3000 level and I'm about to splurge a bit. I plan on buying a Smith and Wesson m22 victory since I don't have a classic target plinker yet, but I'm also planning on getting a bodyguard 2.0 as a gift for my brother since he's been doing a lot for me recently.

Anyway that will leave me with about $2000ish dollars to do with as I see fit. I've really been eyeing a p226 x-five classic which I can get for under $1600, but I also was able to check out the P211 gt5 last week and it felt really nice.

A few other guns on my list and what I can get them for are as follows.

Beretta 1301 tactical $1050

Beretta 20x bobcat-$500

Beretta 80x cheetah- $629

Smith and Wesson model 627- $1050

10/22 carbon- $550

Sig p210 carry custom - $1600

Cz shadow 2 Carry- $1300

There's other stuff but those are the ones that stick out. What do you guys think? Would you pair the p226 x-five with one of the lower cost guns there, buy the P211, or mix and match some of the other guns on the list? Everything I'd be buying is basically range only. Though the compact pistols would be carry options too.

The Mustang Dark Horse SC High equipment group package, costs more money than an entire brand new Ecoboost Mustang

The Dark Horse SC 970A high equipment group package costs $36,500 and includes the following

  • 20x11.5 Carbon Fiber Rims
  • Carbon Ceramic Brakes
  • Special tuning for the Magneride system
  • Unique exterior badge color
  • Carbon Fiber rear wing
  • Adjustable top strut mounts
  • An Oil Catch Can
  • Manually Adjustable Recaro Sport Seats
  • A Flat Bottom steering wheel
  • Painted brake calipers
  • Rear Seat Delete

Compared to the Base price of a Ecoboost Mustang which is $35,330 after delivery and includes an entire Car.

Ignoring the fact that most of the high equipment package is stuff you would hope comes already included in the $110,000 base price, it's quite impressive we've reached the point on mustangs where option packages can rival the price of an entire vehicle. Yes carbon fiber components are expensive, and likely make up the bulk of the cost here, but it's worth mentioning that a mere 4 years ago, a very similar carbon fiber package for the GT500 cost a relatively paltry $18,500

Muskets like those from 1776 are mostly exempt from today’s gun laws

Thought everyone might get a kick out of this article from the AP. Further evidence that the people most interested in restricting your rights are the least knowledgeable about the subject.

>With 165 grains of black powder in the barrel, a .75-caliber Brown Bess flintlock musket like the ones the redcoats carried in 1776 can hurl a lead ball at a velocity of around 1,000 feet (305 meters) per second. Imagine what that can do to a human body. Now, imagine that it’s almost completely exempt from gun regulations.
