honestly I'm proud of them and I believe in their future

I saw a couple of clips from the recent concerts today and I immediately thought about writing this - I'm genuinely sooo proud of enha. past months have been so tough for them but they still look so happy together and I feel like their bond is stronger than ever now. I can't help but remember this Jungwon interview where he said how much he values their team, how they'd like to stay around for a long time and how they all are on the same page. idk if it's just me, but it's honestly very visible to me, they look so confident, and obviously they are probably tired of so many things but I can still see how strong they are as a team. I genuinely believe their future is bright, no matter what some people say 🫶🏼

I LOVE JUNGWON

this is going to be a long post but first let's appreciate the pics he posted today (like excuse me Yang Jungwon??) but I've been wanting to write a Jungwon appreciation post for a while now

he's my ult and there are sooo many reasons why he became one (he wasn't my first bias actually). i think the most important one is how much he loves and appreciates his fans. seriously, he interacts with us so much, he posts on weverse, he replies to comments so often even though he doesn't have to do it that much, he always says how much he cares for engenes and he's being so sincere about it, I genuinely believe he's one of the most honest and down-to-earth idols. it's so amazing to admire an idol and get the same energy back from them as a fan 🥹🫶🏼

also, the way he handles things. he's such a great leader, we all know that, but also I love how seriously he treats his responsibilities and how he never tries to avoid them. he spoke up so many times, standing up for himself and his members. whenever there was something that could be perceived as a controversy he'd immediately go live and explain it or apologize when it was his mistake - like this recent situation with a t-shirt, he genuinely didn't know it had a bad meaning, but when he saw people calling him out for it, he decided to go live and apologize because he didn't mean to offend anyone, and he was being so genuine about it. I love how politely he speaks, but at the same time it's all very honest and straightforward. I really admire that. not to mention that he's literally just one year older than me, and he is already so responsible, he became the leader of a k-pop group at such a young age and he still managed to do so many things so well.

obviously, I also admire him for his talent. I think his voice is extremely unique, I personally love his vocal tone, I'd recognize that voice anywhere atp. and his dancing skills? insane. his moves are always so smooth, and his body control is crazy, as a person who can't dance at all I'm always shocked how the hell does he even do that 😭

it is also worth noting that his genuine dedication and passion for what he's doing is incredible. sure, many idols say they love what they're doing, but you can just see that Jungwon is one of those who REALLY mean it. I still remember that interview when he spoke so kindly about his members, about how important it is for him to be a part of enhypen and how he'd like them to stay around for a long time. it was comforting to hear, because honestly Jungwon is the definition of a comfort idol for me 🤍

thank u anyone who took time to read my long appreciation post 🫶🏼 I just decided that I'll take some time to write something nice and genuine about my favourite k-pop idol <3

to any engene reading this - everything is going to be okay 🫶🏼

I know that the last months has been extremely tough for enha and for the fandom in general. it's completely understandable to feel overwhelmed by the constant negativity, constant rumours and speculations and constant hate trains flooding online spaces. that's why I wrote this post. because I'm tired of it too.

I know how heartbreaking it is to watch extremely kind and talented people like enhypen members being the target of so much hostility, but I would also like to remind everyone that:

- the doomposting on the internet is not the reality. in tough situations, many people tend to spiral and get completely detached from the reality, creating weird theories and negative speculations. yes, it's completely valid to worry if enha members are doing okay 🫶🏼 but we also need to remember that things people are posting online are often made in emotions or just purely for engagement.

- what made enhypen so successful is their dedication, the genuine passion for what they're doing and their connection to fans (seriously, I've never felt so appreciated as a fan before). our boys are working hard every single day and they showed that they care about each other and about us. a hard time cannot just change that.

- remember - we are supporting enhypen for THEM, not for the fans or fandom spaces. it's supposed to be a fun hobby, so if you're feeling overwhelmed by the negativity, it's totally fine to just get off socials (especially stan twt). mental health will always be more important than any k-pop group! you don't have to reply to hate comments, even if you're frustrated with them. supporting and loving a group doesn't require that.

- terrible actions of others in the same fandom do not define you. you should never feel guilty for wanting to support your favourite group. and I'm sure that the members themselves are fully aware that there are so many kind and genuine people supporting them. focus on that, let's just keep spreading more positivity and appreciation instead of focusing on the negative stuff. right now it's bad, but eventually it'll pass and there are definitely some better days to come 🫶🏼

personally, I love enhypen not only for their music (even though they create bangers) but for their sincerity and for the comfort they bring me on daily basis. and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who thinks this way <3 I'm grateful for every friend I made thanks to being an enhypen fan and I hope that at least a few of you reading this had the same experiences. that's it, I just wanted to leave something nice for other engenes who might be feeling a bit down recently 🤍

if you think this way, you simply don't respect them as humans

I am extremely proud of Jungwon for speaking up so clearly about this whole situation going on since March 10th. he's really brave and he probably reached his breaking point too, I can't imagine how frustrating it has to be for them to deal with such an insane amount of hate from people that claim to be your "fans", and to read every single day that you're not enough. he's genuinely my absolute favourite k-pop idol, and I love how sincere he always is, no matter what he's speaking about.

I am not even trying to hate, I'm just sad seeing such comments under the post about Jungwon speaking up. it is disappointing and extremely sad, because it shows that people who have this way of thinking, don't even perceive enha members as real people with feelings, and they don't have that basic, human respect towards another human. Jungwon spoke up from the bottom of his heart. he talked to the other members as well. he expressed his feelings about the whole situation very clearly, knowing he's probably going to get hate for it anyways. and that's what these people say about that. it's not even about fandom wars between "ot6" and "ot7". it's just about respect. it's sad to see so many people don't have it.

ts frying me 😹

their new theory is that Jungwon was talking about Heeseung in the interview because if he was talking about Jay, he wouldn't say "our oldest hyung" but "Jay hyung" 😹 I swear, these men cannot get a break, their every single word gets twisted and overanalysed. these kids are acting like enha members don't have their own personalities and lives and only think about Heeseung.

this is another level of being tone-deaf

these are the comments under recent posts (from today) about enhypen's partnership with WHO. I know it's already been talked about on this sub, however I just feel like these "ot7s" reached a new level of being tone-deaf and extremely disrespectful.

they don't even realise how important and meaningful this partnership is. donating blood literally saves lives, and it's amazing that enhypen's lore has been used to promote such campaign. but no, they have to flood comments with tags and ruin everything, even though these posts are made with WHO, which means that WHO staff can probably see everything.

at this point, they're not even trying to hide that they simply want to sabotage every partnership enha does, because no matter what it is, the comments will always look the same. I can't wrap my head around their inability to read the room, and understand that a HUMANITARIAN CASE is not a space for their stupid delusions and meaningless protests. I'm so tired 🫩

y'all are not fans

so, Jay was talking about his childhood dream on Weverse, some kind of a project he wants to release in the future and he was clearly excited to release it, counting down to it. but because of the very direct translation of one of his comments, "fans" are already panicking that he simply announced the group's disbandment. his comment got posted without the full context on Instagram (and probably on TikTok too) and these are the comments under it. honestly, I'm so irritated, not only by the obvious misinformation but also about people that call themselves "fans" still living their delusions and literally wishing that ENHYPEN disbands, especially after Jay clearly talked about something dear/important to him. they just had to ruin this by making those deluded theories, I'm so tired.
