Need help to land a job
I am an Application Security Engineer at one of the WITCH companies. My daily work is working on internal and external facing apps, resolve vulnerabilities (both static and dynamic), work with app teams to make sure sdlc is followed and triage false positives. I am unable to land a job at any other companies. I have given interview at 2 big 4 but no luck. They want pentester, threat modeller, appsec and devsecops all in one candidate. I do not know what i am doing wrong, how to upskill myself or how to target companies for a cybersecurity job. Need guidance so that i can land a job. I’m learning Pentesting since this is required in blue team jobs as well, and no matter how much they ask about pipelines there is a dedicated devops team in every company and separate security team, still in interview they want all from one person only. Can anyone share their interview experience and how you guys are switching companies in Indian job market?
