could an editor fix this on Lelouch's wiki page please

could an editor fix this on Lelouch's wiki page please

actually, the entire paragraph needs to be rewritten because it portrays the revival as something Jeremiah and C.C. deliberately planned, whereas Jeremiah was only going to bury the body safely, but upon seeing Lelouch resurrected, he naturally informed C.C. and he had to give Lelouch to her so she can bring back Lelouch's mind.

but the main mistake i want to address is the mixing up of timelines:

first of all, of course, i have read all the interviews, and i know that right from the start, Sunrise planned for Code Geass to be a franchise with multiple timelines, much like Gundam. however, even as they try to make a profit, they are doing everything in their power to ensure that newly released productions do NOT effect the original anime timeline.

ㅤㅤ

yes from the very beginning, Code Geass franchise has consisted of works that strive to keep the anime, movies, manga, games, and novels as separate from one another as possible.

ㅤㅤ

>for what? other than the fact that they're already considering these different media formats as partly seperate?

ㅤㅤ

→ having the freedom to produce more series and products, and thus being able to create new things without changing/affecting the canon timeline, will protect them from limitations such as contradictions, world building rules, serious plot holes etc. (i'm not even talking about non-canon products such as Nightmare of Nunnally, Lelouch the Tutor, Suzaku of the Counterattack etc.; they're created freely precisely because they're non-canon. i'm talking about products built upon a main canon. they need some freedom too.)

so Code Geass had routes (a system like branching paths) and「 Re; 」 manga didn't change this multiverse system.

the anime serves as the first and original source material — a timeline they try to leave completely unchanged.

📌 「Stage 26 / Route 1」 was cancelled.

📌 「Turn 0 - 25 / R2 (stands for Route 2)」 was designated as the main canon continue so the canon story's ending is the last episode of this route and there is nothing more than the picture drama titled 「R2 Turn 25.01」

📌 「 Re; 」 manga, on the other hand, is designed as a gateway to 「Re;surrection」manga (hence its name) like what they did with the 3 recap + fukkatsu movies, an another separate route — doesn't change R2, not a continuation of that branch — it's just an alternate timeline and there's no reason for it to affect the original one.

📌 calling this the 'anime timeline' is flat-out wrong and defeats (or ignores) the entire purpose.

tbh i can't understand the fandom's pathetic efforts to make Lelouch's revival as main canon... buddy you can be as delulu as you want, but judging by the interview given a few days before the final episode aired on TV for the first time, it proved that Lelouch's absolute death in the finale weren't open-ended. all this revival sus is just to keep your hopes alive and keep you hooked on the series. and it worked. get over it. embrace the truth, please.
