If anyone is looking for a haunt to go to tonight, Dead Time Dreams is open at Eastridge Mall, ticket booth opens at 7pm, haunt at 7:30pm. They will also be open tomorrow. NOT LOCATED with the pumpkin patch anybmore, but behind the mall next to the parking structure. Apple maps has it wrong, google maps will get you there.
Tickets are $25 each.

It's been hot here in my area of California. Made myself a watermelon salad to go with dinner lastnight. Fresh mint from my garden. The recipe is simple. Watermelon cubed, mint leaves chopped up, a splash of olive oil and a dash of pepper. Refreshing for a hot day! You can add vegan cheese to it as well (recommend a crumbly soft cheese).
