Do you have certain days or situations where you simply don’t trade anymore?

Over time I’ve noticed there are certain situations where I’m much more likely to make bad decisions, even if I don’t realize it in the moment.

Things like Mondays, weekends, big news days, after a couple of losses, or even after a really good day.

Curious if anyone else has rules like this.
Are there any days or situations where you’ve decided it’s just better not to trade? Did it actually make a difference?

What is the one trading rule you KNOW you should follow but keep breaking anyway?

One thing I’ve realized after all these years of trading is that knowing the rules and actually following them are two completely different things.

For me, it’s usually not the strategy that loses me money. It’s breaking my own rules after a few emotional trades.

Curious, what’s the one rule you struggle with the most? Which one keeps coming back to hurt your account?
