I'm located in Northern California. A few months ago, I thought I'd try to grow some flowers for the first time. I'm no green thumb, but I am trying! 1 pot of dahlias is doing great, but the other pot's leaves are crumbling away. Is it bugs? (I don't ever see any on the leaves or in the dirt, but I could be missing something.) Is it heat? Is the pot too small? Any advice would be so helpful!

(Slide Descriptions: Slide 1 is the dahlia that is suffering, slide 2 & 3 are close ups of the dahlia issue. The chopsticks were for support from a recently windy day. Slide 4 is my other, happy dahlia that isn't suffering.)
