After a decade of searching, I finally have them

Is this a safe place to post our W's? have searched for these two since they came out. So many sellers on eBay wanted $300+ but I finally found a listing for under $150. These minifigures are my first actual physical merchandise apart from the mangas (which I'm still collecting because some Japanese exclusive releases are crazy expensive) and the games themselves. I bought these along with the limited edition release of Book of Shadows that comes with the minifigures of Naomi and Seiko. Hopefully those arrive in one piece.

These two are TINY but surprisingly detailed. I did not expect them to be this small.

Been thinking about making the chibi versions of other characters from airdry clay. If anybody is curious about how those turn out, I'll make a post about them for feedback.

Is anyone kinda disturbed by how Tigerstar II treats his own mother?

Alright so, I've been a fan of WC since I was about 10. I'm 24 now. I stopped reading the books somewhere around A Vision of Shadows but have recently picked them back up and am loving the stories the new team are coming up with.

So I've started reading the Elders Quest. I'm about halfway through and I'm enjoying all of the POV characters (I adore Tawnypelt and have for years, I LOVE that she is being written as a grumpy old boomer whose frustrated with them 'darn kids these days').

While I've been enjoying the book, I have a persistent, knuckle-clenching rage at Tawnypelt's treatment by her son Tigerstar II. Now, I despise Dovewing and Tigerstar II. I cannot stand either of them and never have since OOTS (if you like them, please tell me why! I'm so curious as to why Dovewing in particular seems to have become a popular fan favorite in recent years!).

Tigerstar II has become your bog standard ShadowClan leader: unreasonable to a headache-inducing degree and angry at everybody all the time, yet has no valid reason to be. He is a detriment to ShadowClan. Yet he has been consistently nasty to his own mother all throughout this book and it drives me insane. His and Dovewing's reactions to their son announcing his intention to join SkyClan to be with his love was not only completely unreasonable but DEEPLY hypocritical, and the way they both immediately placed the blame on Tawnypelt made me put the book down for a couple days to process the sheer level of rage I felt at these two.

The older books were mostly apathetic to family relationships, and that was always a huge issue I had with this series. But that is no longer the case with the new books. Family relations and dynamics are being explored in ways they never really have before. I think this is why I find Tigerstar's treatment of her specifically as so upsetting. Tawnypelt is not only his parent, but she's a respected senior warrior who came from the old territories. She witnessed the destruction of the forest firsthand. His complete dismissal of her and the way he treats her is honestly so disturbing. You'd think, given ShadowClan's history and his own choices, he would be more patient and understanding of not only his mother but his son.

I've heard rumors of Crowfeather x Tawnypelt becoming a real thing and I'm honestly torn about the issue. At this point, I hope she leaves ShadowClan and her awful son/DIL behind. I feel like Tawnypelt is getting a taste of her own brother's treatment of his mate, Squirrelstar.

Thoughts? Opinions? Does this improve at all in the later books?
