SCAMs in uganda

As a person who shops online i recently met myself in a tricky situation between a seller and a hired Kabangale.

The receipt clearly states that i purchased a core i7 8th generation laptop,

When i was paying for it i was about to go for a safari so i didnt bother counter checking cos anyway i have a receipt and all.

I came back on Monday to now check the machine and i found so many issues including a fried keyboard.

I call the guy and he starts some monkey business talk, i told him fine. Let me come to the shop, he thought am just a foreigner so I wasnt gonna find out where he was.

As tou check the bios you can see its a core i5 6th generation laptop. I was pissed so i called the relevant police with a kabangale and went to the shop.

My take is one, and am ready to die with my opinion, most Ug sellers are just sellers( they dont know about specs)
2. Brokers dont know what they are selling.
3. If they find out you’re bright they will refer you to another shop.
4. Never think you’re dealing with a dumb client as a seller.
5. The shop owner ended up giving me a new laptop and paying for the kabangale guys and my lawyer
