Time blocking

Hi all,

I was wondering if anybody here practiced time blocking within their Todoist setups. I'm somewhat new to Todoist, and I haven't been able to find a way to do it effectively. For a bit of context, I use Todoist and Fantastical, and my calendars live in Google.

My main issue with this setup is that, if I move the task itself in the "calendar" view in Todoist, if it's a recurring event (like many are), the task time gets changed to whatever I time blocked it to for future instances of the task. Not great, because it doesn't mean that this is the de-facto new time that I will *always* take care of this task.

Then, if I do it the other way around, by connecting Todoist to Fantastical, when I move the task to where I want to time block it, it just overwrites any timing information (repeat, duration, etc). Also not great because I just lost all future tasks.

I guess the ideal way to tackle this is to copy each task to an event on a "Time Blocking" calendar in Google, and then do all the manipulation to the copy, not to the task itself, but that's a lot of work. I am wondering how is everybody doing this in their setups, and any advices you can give.

Thank you!

Hi all,

I was wondering how you all were cleaning chalk residue inside your cases from storing the shafts tip down. Any suggestions are welcome!
