Stuck on what type of nursing i want to study

Hi,

I’m wanting to go back to uni and get a 2nd bachelors in nursing, as I’ve realised that teaching is not for me, but I’m so stuck on what I actually want to do. I’ve been doing an Access to HE Diploma in Nursing for the last few months as I don’t have a science related A Level and have been advised by uni of manchester to do an access course so i can get onto their mental health nursing.

However, after going to a few open days (still have Liverpool John Moores, Uni of Salford and MMU to go to) I’m now stuck on what I actually want to do. I have an interest in adult & mental health nursing but the midwifery simulation suite in uni of manchester was incredible and has made me contemplate doing midwifery.

For more background on me, I have a BA in English & Philosophy where I got a 2:1 and I’ve been working as a TA with SEMH and wheelchair users in a high school as I wanted to become an RE teacher but the bursary got cut so I can’t afford to do it anymore.

Honestly if anyone could give me an insight of how they realised what area of nursing they wanted to go into then that would be great. I contemplated just doing a nursing associate FDSci to help me decide better but I’m worried about wasting money on my access course. Any help would be greatly appreciated,, thank you !

is there any cat food similar to marro that won’t break the bank

hellooo !

i have 2x 5 month old boy british shorthair cats who are brothers and have been feeding them marro alongside kibble since i pretty much got them. we did try the untamed cat food trial box but £100 a month was too much especially as i’m a TA on a low income. marro hasn’t been too bad but it’s gone from £55 a month up to £80 and it’s just becoming unmanageable. i’ve also gotten trial boxes of cool cat club and katkin and they seem to be enjoying them (albeit my cats aren’t fussy and will eat anything i give them lol). we did also try blink but their poops just smelt so bad :’)

however i’m starting to get annoyed of how these brands don’t really stock food in pets at home. i mean marro does but because the monthly box doesn’t last a month, i have to spend an extra £30 a month on a new box of food to last until the next delivery. i did google other cat food with high meat content and AI recommended scrumbles, which is stocked in a lot more retailers.

i guess my worry is that because my boys have been getting so well fed, i’m worried that brands like felix won’t be as good for them, especially cause their coats are so soft and their poop doesn’t smell either. so if anyone could recommend some affordable cat food that has a higher content of meat that i can get in pets at home, sainsbury’s etc. the. that would be great.

here’s pics of my beautiful babies, spencer (the tabby) and sergio (the black cat)
