I’ve had a garden scan for 2 1/2 weeks and it won’t come out of the dirt
Plz give tips. I found a garden snail 2 1/2 weeks ago and got it a terrarium. The humidity is good and I have leaf litter and everything else supposed to have, but I think the dirt is holding all the moisture in the bottom, no matter how much I water it the top dries out within a few hours. It has not came out from the dirt at all since I got it, but I did dig it out once after about six days and its hole was covered with the mucus or whatever. Should I dig the snail out to change it substrate to Coco ciore? Or should I wait till it comes out on its own. It hasn’t came out on its own yet tho. I don’t know if the soil is the actual problem, but it definitely is holding way too much water at the bottom and none of the top. Plz help. I don’t want the fella to die
