Apple TV keeps resetting video mode to HDR
I keep my Apple TV set to SDR mode with Frame and Content matching on. Depending on the content type I watch the device will switch into and out of HDR just fine. My issue however is every once in a while I will notice the home screen is kinda washed out and I realize the TV display is using HDR. Going into settings indeed shows this to be the case, I switch it back to SDR and all is well until I notice washed out colors after couple days again. At first I thought I might have changed settings myself and just forgot but at this point this has happened at least a dozen times and I am sure the TV is resetting itself to HDR mode and it’s driving me nuts.
Has anyone encountered the same issue and does anyone know if I am missing something obvious here?
