Multiple anime YouTubers are currently receiving copyright strikes and takedowns on a huge number of their videos and community posts, while not even featuring content from the claimed anime.

Multiple anime-themed YouTubers are currently receiving copyright strikes on videos and community posts that are discussing anime. Many of the strikes show Viz Media as the claimant and a company called Remove Your Media, LLC as the one that submitted the claims. The YouTubers affected are saying that this is a misuse of the copyright system and that the content that was strikes does not even feature content from the anime. Many of the YouTubers and viewers are currently waiting to see if YouTube will address this blatant abuse of the copyright system.
