Back of plot suggestions
Hi all, I'm looking for suggestions for what to put at the back of my plot. I've had it for a few months and just cleared it all back. The plot goes up to the tree line just behind the pallets. I know for sure I'm going to use the pallets for a 2 bay system at the very back. The tree remains are from dead elm trees that were cut down, some of the trunks are a decent size so I'm thinking the roots will be a nightmare to dig up so I'd like to avoid that if possible. I do plan on getting a bow saw and cutting the trunks as far down as possible.
There are some bare spaces where I'm thinking to put a few fruit trees, most likely apple, cherry and fig. I'm also thinking about putting some blackberry/rasberry canes (non thorn varieties).
Perhaps some blueberry bushes - but I'm not sure if they'll like the clay soil?
