Hello,

I am a design student living in the US visiting my friend in Japan this week. I have gotten the opportunity to visit and tour a Tokyo design office I admire a lot through a mutual connection. I feel it would be appropriate to get a gift as I am very grateful for their time and effort. I am on my way to the airport right now but am having a hard time thinking of an appropriate gift as I don’t know if it should be for an individual, the whole office, from the us, Japan, etc. Any advice navigating this would be greatly appreciated as I really would like to make a good impression. Thank you.
