I built an app for simple finance tracking for self employed.

Hey everyone,

I’m really glad I stumbled across this community. To be honest, a lot of places on Reddit can feel pretty negative and harsh, so finding a space like this is incredibly refreshing.

Earlier this year, I launched a mobile detailing business. As things started picking up, I quickly realized how chaotic it was trying to keep track of my numbers across different notes, spreadsheets, and paper logs. I tried mainstream software like QuickBooks and Quicken, but they just felt completely bloated. They were packed with features I didn't need, had a steep learning curve, and came with a hefty monthly price tag.

I just wanted something straightforward. My vision was simple: the moment I finish a detailing job, I can open an app and log my income in two taps. When I buy chemicals or microfiber towels, I can log the expense right there in my car before I even start the engine. Then, when tax season hits, I can just pull up the app and instantly see everything I need.

Because I couldn't find a tool that did just that, I decided to build it myself. It's designed to be ultra-simple to use with a very low cost of entry.

I’m currently in the final stages of preparing to launch it on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. I'd love to hear what you guys think of the concept, or if you've run into similar headaches with business tracking.

Thanks for reading!

PS: If anyone wants to try it out or jump on the early waitlist, let me know and I'll DM you the landing page link!
