Still think there should be a set of teal cards that allow you to use bonus cards as a resource of some sort in a sort of repeatable way.
They introduced a few that let you discard bonus cards for other bonus cards and cached food which is great but there’s a plethora of untapped ideas here.
Like discard bonus cards to get:

Eggs
Play another bird
Draw cards
They’ve done points (cached food) and other bonus cards be fun tho see a cycle of cards similar but different options

Round End: Look through the top 4 discard bonus cards and keep 1 of them. Then discard a bonus card.
Idea here is, it’s a endangered scavenging gull and uses lot of similar themed cards parameters of Wrybill (look through discard pile) and kakapo (look at 4 cards) and Eurasian skylark (card selection of bonus cards)

Actually ran out of things to do at end of the game
Copying Grey-headed Manikin and yet still had to pay 2 🥚 by not getting the discount
Was very lucky and Indian Vulture copied ESP bonus card
Somehow never missed a single free 🥚 from 🤖 the entire game but it was definitely a challenge
Crazy good game and was hoping Kakapo or Judgey bird would hit Endangered Species Protector
Marsh warbler copying grey-headed mannikin does NOT afford the 1 egg discount
These types of games are far and few between but hit are they super enjoyable!
