How do people play the Thursday arrival? Turn up at 8am to get in the queue early or try to get there in the afternoon when the rush has died down?

It’s looking like camp orchid might even make things longer for us as it says you have to queue for your general wristband and then queue again for the camp orchid one? Can anyone shed any light on that? I assumed they’d be different entrances. Thanks!
