Food paintings in my a6
I'm learning gouache and been trying to add daily sketches of some foods I've had in that day or week. The dated pages keep me going!

Oops it's smaller than my super tiny watercolor palette.
This is a no name brand travelers notebook that I found (apparently I bought it for my husband maybe a decade ago but he didn't end up suing it.)
I'm still nervous to add patches to my TRC TNs but I thought to experiment with this one. It's just a touch wider than the passport size TRC TN. I used gorilla super glue to add the patch.
I added the magnet to house my xteink, which then inspired me to do the same with an ultra thin watercolor palette! The palette is from Jerry's Artarama, Soho brand. I also have a few inserts and added some watercolor paper (lazy inserts just folded in half).
I'm quite happy with it and worry I may use it more than my TRC cover!! I think it's the patch addition and that I can fit more into this one.
I thrifted this locket many years ago and finally turned it into a mini watercolor palette. I also added some of my lampwork glass beads and a frog charm that was gifted to me. Sometimes I keep my Hobonichi weeks as an insert inside because I love to use both and can't decide.
I started my year with a Less/More list of intentions. One of them was to do more strength training and actually show up to the gym. One way I motivate myself is by giving myself tiny cute cat stickers. I've had some bad weeks/months but I am proud of all the times I have shown up so far! Also love that I sketched this list in my Hobonichi weeks and can easily look back to review my intentions and remind myself.
I recently discovered this ultra thin watercolor palette that fits perfectly into the zipper pouch inside my passport size TN. I got it from Jerry's Artarama and wish they had empty ones so I can use my own watercolors, but it's so nice! I realize my TN is pretty chonk but every bit helps.
If it's wrong to have so many charms, I don't want to be right!
I'm fairly new to the world of Travelers and picked up my first passport size at the Narita airport in March. It was so worth the trip to get to another terminal.
I'm also a lampwork bead artist so when I realized I can add my bead charms, it made me love the journal even more!
Inside I have a commonplace notebook for random stuff, an insert on Japan things I discover and learn and then the last one is my sketchbook.
