Hi, sorry I know the subreddit either covers a large area or that I'm too far out of ITP depending on your perspective haha, but I'm really devastated and trying every resource I can. Thank you

Hi, has anyone seen this ophthalmologist for CXL? I had an appointment with him before and liked him but we only talked, and I also really like the sclerals fitter he recommended me (Dr Gotay) but wondering if anyone has first hand experience with him? It seems they do the procedure once a month.
I was putting off getting the treatment done because I was stable but I had some progression in recent years and finally going to get it done.
Hello, I'm trying to get used to scleral lenses right now.

It's been about three weeks and I've had a follow-up. I'm having a lot of lens awareness, especially in one eye, and a bit of itching. It's been tolerable enough that I can wear the lenses all day since I'm really trying to see if it will eventually go away, but I'm always aware of it.

I went back for a follow-up about a week ago and she said the fit and prescription is perfect but that my eyes are very dry. I also tried with her 3 years ago and gave up for unrelated reasons, but back then, she *did* order me a new pair after the first fitting, so I don't think it's a matter that she just doesn't want to adjust them.

Anyhow, I've never really felt they were dry enough that it bothers me without lenses, so it's not like I have severe dry eyes that bothers me like some people.

Since then, I've been trying to use drops to improve it and also putting a few drops inside my infill. I'm using both Bio true hydration boost and Systane hydration PF, and I've already gotten through a bottle of each in like a week trying to improve it...but it's only a bit better, not much. I also got celluvisc yesterday to try to use as well. I'm worried about how expensive this is gonna be if I always need this much.

Wondering if anyone has had similar issues? I don't really understand how sclerals can also be prescribed for dry eye if I'm struggling that bad with them with just a (relatively) mild case of it. I just want to feel comfortable in them.

I also posted pictures of my eyes after wearing them all day. Does the redness look normal?
